The Bethlehem (house of bread) association’s principal work is with the institution of the family.

At the moment we help around 130 families in the city of Syracuse and others in the province.

We believe that the family is the fulcrum of society so we seek to meet the family’s needs in every way we can.

Our volunteers take part in various activities:

• Using his work experience, the president occupies himself with all legal aspects of the association.
• Our other volunteers take part in other responsibilities, such as: distribution of food and clothes, assistance to shut-ins, visits at home and in the hospital, assistance to housewives in difficulty, special attention is given to wives and children with husbands/fathers in prison.

This year in particular, we organized diverse get-togethers involving all of the families assisted by the association.

Over the years, we have organized special childrens’ nights including puppet shows, games, music and other activities which teach Biblical truths.

In the future we would like to do more and this will be possible with God’s help above all but also with collaboration from others.
